75 Piece Vehicle Emergency Tool Kit
Have your emergency tool kit while traveling
Your emergency tool kit has the proper emergency tools and supplies
Has the proper things you need for bad conditions
Know how to do the basic tasks to get your car back in action (have your manual in the car – sometimes instructions are in there)
Your spare tire
This really the first basic thing to have… Periodically check it to make sure it is good condition. We all go too long on this… you do NOT want to find that this is also flat when you really need it! Make sure it is properly inflated. Check that spare tire to make sure that it is reading for the proper pressure.
The spare tire that comes with the car is usually smaller than the usual tire and often what is called a donut tire. When you have your tires changed… pick out the best of the old ones and put it on a real wheel for your car. This is a far better spare.
Make sure that you can change a tire… know what it takes and that you have all the proper tools in the car to do this. Know where the jack can be placed under your car. The wrong location can lead to damage and even more problems. Even someone who is good at changing tires, can find themselves uncertain of this with a car with which they are not familiar.
Have an vehicle emergency tool kit with you, don’t find yourself helpless and stuck on the side of the road
When your vehicle breaks down, you really should have the tools with you to get you out of trouble. We should all have enough skills to at least change a tire. Even if we have someone who is better at fixing the problem around, it won’t do much good unless we have the tools.

Mentioned items that are separate to the Vehicle Emergency Tool Kit
This is an outstanding tool for those dropped tools and metal parts (not included)
What is more aggravating than to drop the part or tool you need down in the engine compartment while you are working there?!?
We all drop things and in an repair situation that may be in a difficult location, this is even easier to happen. This tool allows you to get them back so much easier.
Magnet on a telescoping rod + light too
What would make this great tool even better? If it came with some magnetic trays to set securely on your vehicle and hold parts/tools while you work!
Duct tape
Duct tape is a great solution to so many fixes… why not stock more than just your car?!? You can find 1, 3, or 5 roll options here…
Window scraper
Highly rated and very popular
Stuck in mud or slick conditions
This is a case where you could have a mat in the car… this MIGHT be helpful in this case and would also be handy if you have to do work under the car. A mat can really come in handy. I have seen a video of an emergency solution of tying a board to the base of the wheel. When in motion, this helps to give traction and aid in getting the car unstuck in a quick, simple way.
There are special traction mats that are sold for this purpose as well.
Some people keep a bag of gravel in the car to help give traction to get out of a slippery situation.
